Job description
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides direct, evidence-based care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent conditions. Working nights in a fast-paced hospital ED, this role performs rapid assessment, triage, medication administration, monitoring, and stabilization, while coordinating with physicians and the care team. The nurse also educates patients and families, documents in the EHR, and upholds safety, EMTALA, privacy, and quality standards.
