Job description
Role: PCU Registered Nurse (RN) providing high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings.
Responsibilities Include
Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
Monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments
Collaborating with physicians and care teams
Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
Following infection control and safety standards
Educating patients and families on care and discharge
Adapting to different hospital units and environments
Qualifications And Skills
Active Virginia RN license
Minimum of 2 years recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Additional credentials as required by facilities
