The RN demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.**\\*\\*Note, this position provides bi-campus coverage at Moses and Einstein\\*\\*****EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:**Associate's degree in nursing RequiredBachelor's degree in nursing PreferredNew York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.Basic Life Support TrainingInfection Control TrainingMinimum of one year of experience in an Oncology setting RequiredONS Chemotherapy/ Biotherapy provider Certification strongly PreferredStrong knowledge of chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, infusion protocols, and patient safety standards strongly PreferredEffective English communication skills, both written and oralAbility to use basic data entry and retrieval systemsMontefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
