About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Three East Progressive Care Unit provides direct care to a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. What You'll Do
Function as a caregiver for a specific patient population.
Provide effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Direct and oversee care provided by other caregivers through delegation and evaluation.
Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
Requirements
Education
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience
Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program
Licenses & Certifications
Current RN License in NJ
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BLS, PALS, ACLS, IV Certification required
