About This Role

What You'll Do
Comply with all Kaiser Permanente quality, safety, and emergency policies and procedures.
Evaluate health status through the collection and assessment of health data.
Analyze reports and records data.
Use data to identify health care problems and create a plan.
Prioritize patients' needs.
Triage patients in person or via telephone and implement the proper course of action.
Evaluate emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and/or their families.
Execute delegated medical functions consistent with the medical plan prescribed by a physician.
Facilitate the coordination and integration of care between health care services.
