Job description
Seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a 9-bed pulmonary progressive care unit, focusing on patients with acute conditions such as lung transplants, pulmonary hypertension, ventilator dependence, and related therapies. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice nurses, case managers, social workers, and therapists, to deliver timely treatment and patient rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
Deliver patient- and family-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities.
Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Participate in safety, quality, and compliance initiatives, and engage in ongoing professional development.
Create and communicate individualized care plans aligned with standards and patient needs, considering psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
Utilize critical nursing skills for comprehensive assessment and evaluation across physical and emotional domains.
Qualifications:
Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree, RN license, no prior experience required.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
