Join our MainCampus Recovery Room/PACU! \ N
Primary Patient Population:\ N
Pediatric through Adult
\ N Immediate post-operative period
\ N
Primaryskills utilized/learned:\ N
Maintain patient airway
\ N Assess hemodynamic stability and support
\ N Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status
\ N Provision of adequate pain and comfort measures
\ N Assess Wound/incision integrity
\ N Overall patient assessment
\ N
Personnel RN will work with:\ N
OR/ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy
\ N
Number of OR Suites/Cases:\ N
26 beds (Bay platform)
\ N 40-50 surgical cases daily
\ N

Required Qualifications:\ N
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
\ N Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
\ N Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
\ N Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
\ N PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
\ N PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
\ N
Preferred Qualifications:\ N
BSN
\ N Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
\ N
