Job Location: Shawnee Correctional Center - Vienna, IL 62995, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: Associate's Degree, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Evening, Job Category: Nursing Professional & Support, Hourly salary of $49.68+/hour.
We offer a $4 differential on evenings and a $3 differential on nights.
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Shawnee, Illinois.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree required
Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: Full-time Evening.
The standard schedule is Tuesday - Saturday (Sun/Mon off), or an optional rotating weekend schedule available for added flexibility.
