Job description
Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a collaborative patient care team, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. They serve as a communication link between patients, families, providers, and team members, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and uphold professional standards
Maintain confidentiality and safety protocols
Support Shared Governance through service on councils or activities
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Current RN license (Georgia or multi-state compact)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications required within 6 months for select units
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
National specialty certification relevant to area of practice
