Job Overview
Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) seeks a per diem Registered Nurse to work the day shift (7a-7p) within the Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) Unit, a 24-bed medical-surgical unit. Nurses care for patients admitted with multiple diagnoses and health conditions. Penn Medicine emphasizes education, encouraging RN's to pursue advanced degrees and certifications.
Shift
Monday-Friday, Day Shift – 12 hours (7:00am-7:00pm).
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients in the ACE unit, manage multiple conditions, and support education initiatives for patients and staff.
Credentials
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Basic Life Support Certification (required prior to first day of hire)
Registered Nurse – NJ (Required)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License (required prior to first day of hire) and preferred National Nursing Certification
Education or Equivalent Experience
Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or in pursuit of a BSN
And greater than 15 months professional nursing experience
Associate of Arts or Science (Required)
Equivalent Experience: 5+ years clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered
