Job description
Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
Performing the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
Delivering relationship-based, culturally competent care tailored to patient needs.
Partnering with patients and families through effective communication, updates, and shared decision-making.
Coordinating safe care delivery, promoting teamwork, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
Mentoring and serving as a preceptor to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.
Participating in research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice activities.
Ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Education: Associate or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license, BLS, PALS, and other certifications upon hire.
Experience: Preferred with direct patient care.
Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, time management, and proficiency in clinical technology.
