Job description
Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting. They follow evidence-based practices guided by organizational models and uphold the standards set by nursing regulations and ethics.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
Partner with patients and families through effective communication methods, ensuring their goals guide care planning.
Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and fostering a respectful environment.
Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance care quality.
Participate in professional development, mentoring, and serve as a preceptor to foster a skilled workforce.
Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and compliance with safety and organizational policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.
Ability to function effectively in fast-paced and emergency situations.
