About This Role
The Registered Nurse - RN - Adult Psychiatric 6South position at NewYork-Presbyterian involves providing exceptional care to patients in a psychiatric setting during night shifts. This role is ideal for nurses committed to excellence and compassionate patient care.

Pay: $118,134-$155,787/Annual
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Facility: NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital
Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift (7:30PM-8:00AM)
What You’ll Do
Provide nursing care to adult psychiatric patients.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment.
Implement crisis management and de-escalation techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Rotate weekends and alternate holidays as required.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
Experience: Experience in an acute psychiatric or inpatient setting preferred
Licenses & Certifications: Current New York State RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required
