Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Surgical Tele Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Full Time Nights (7P-7A) Dallas $10K Sign-On Bonus!
We offer a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for all full‑time PCU openings. Join our Surgical Tele Progressive Care Unit to provide care for cardiac surgical patients, thoracic and vascular patients, Cath lab patients, heart‑failure patients, pacemakers, and all cardiac conditions.
Compensation:
$26.50–$50.82 per hour, commensurate with experience. Schedule: Full‑time nights (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) 36 hrs/week with weekend and holiday requirements. Self‑scheduling available.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Provide patient‑centered care in a high‑acuity telemetry unit with a 4:1‑5:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.
Exhibit positive interpersonal skills and customer‑service focus.
Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
BSN preferred.
Experience: One year of clinical nursing or completion of an RN residency program.
One year of progressive cardiac care strongly preferred, or three years medical/surgical experience plus one year of telemetry.
Must practice within the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
Licensure & Certifications: RN upon hire.
BCLS and ACLS upon hire (Expiration >3 months preferred).
CRP (Crisis Prevention Intervention) within 60 days of hire.
BCMSN, CRRN, or PCCN preferred.
Skills: Understanding of basic human needs.
Active listening and non‑judgmental attitude.
Recognition and understanding of patient affiliations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
