Job description
Role:
Provides direct nursing care in a cardiology setting as a registered nurse.
Responsibilities:
Implements and monitors patient care plans, coordinates multidisciplinary care, and executes physician orders. Assesses patient conditions through comprehensive evaluations, sets achievable goals with patients and families, and develops individualized care plans. Implements care, ensures patient safety, administers medications, educates patients/families, and documents care activities. Continuously evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans accordingly. Facilitates care coordination from admission to discharge, including discharge planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid nursing license (Arizona or compact), and at least one year of RN experience. Required certifications include BLS; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and NRP are preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills are essential.
Additional Details:
Sign-on bonus available based on eligibility. The role involves ongoing staff responsibilities in a specialized cardiology unit.
