Job description
Role: Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiology unit, focusing on high-risk cardiac patients.
Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Educate patients and families on managing their illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
Communicate care plans effectively across care settings to ensure continuity.
Qualifications & Skills
Active RN license required.
Preferred: BSN degree and less than 2 years of experience, with telemetry/cardiac experience preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
