Job description
Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Cardiology specialization to provide professional, individualized bedside care within an assigned unit. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The RN will evaluate care quality, participate in hourly rounding, and may serve as shift supervisor or in charge when needed. Key responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, setting realistic outcomes, and ensuring appropriate medical and nursing orders are followed. Required skills include effective interpersonal communication, teamwork, ability to work under pressure, customer service, and basic computer proficiency. Qualifications include a nursing degree from an accredited school, valid RN license in the state, and certifications such as CPR and ACLS. Additional certifications like PALS, NRP, or specialty-specific training are preferred. Prior acute care or NICU experience is desirable, along with a BSN degree. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality care, and collaborative practice in a fast-paced environment.
