Job Description
Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Schedule
4 - 10-hour days per week (7:00 am - 5:30 pm) with an average of 8-10 call shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends per month depending on the schedule.
Assignment Details
1st time travelers accepted. No local candidates within a 75-mile radius. RTO restrictions allow requests close to 1 week. Pending license not accepted.
Requirements
2 years of experience in the cath lab (IR only experience is not accepted)
ACLS, BLS certifications required
Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placements
Experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Lab
EPIC experience required
Skills: Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Special Procedures, Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, and others listed in the job description.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care in the Cath Lab and IR Lab for adult patients.
Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Monitor and manage patients undergoing procedural sedation.
Maintain a safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias as needed.
Demonstrate proficiency in required technical skills and procedures.
