About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Dialysis provides nursing services in accordance with applicable standards and established policies. This per diem role is ideal for nurses looking to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $39.18 - $94.48/Hourly
Location: Oak Bluffs, MA
Facility: Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Inc.
Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift
What You'll Do
Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients.
Provide written assessments of patients on admission.
Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and effectiveness.
Summarize assessment data and create nursing care plans.
Implement clinical and technical aspects of care according to policies.
Educate patients and families on care plans and medication.
Report patient care issues to Clinical Coordinator or supervisor.
Coordinate unit routines and guide staff.
Ensure a safe environment for patients across various age groups.
Identify personal learning needs and pursue self-growth opportunities.
Requirements
Education
Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience
More than 1 year of experience in a medical/surgical unit required
3 years of prior related experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Current RN License in Massachusetts required
BLS/CPR certification required within one week of hire
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
