Requirements
Active RN license (Ohio or compact)
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience within your specialty in the past 5 years
Recent Emergency Room (ER) experience required
Current BLS certification required
AHA certifications accepted
Ability to pass background screening
Must be willing and available to work 12-hour PRN shifts
Must live within 60 miles of the facility
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients
Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies
Document patient care accurately in the medical record
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Provide patient and family education as appropriate
Maintain a safe and professional patient-care environment

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) with recent Emergency Room experience for PRN opportunities in Toledo and Sylvania, Ohio. This role is based in an Emergency Department setting and offers 12-hour PRN shifts on both days and nights. Candidates must have at least 1 year of acute care experience within their specialty during the past 5 years. Local candidates only: The facility will only accept candidates who live within 60 miles of the facility.
