Job description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to provide professional, age-specific bedside care and coordinate patient treatment plans.
Responsibilities Include
Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, and safety needs upon admission and throughout care.
Developing individualized care plans based on patient assessments and data analysis.
Implementing medical and nursing orders, ensuring appropriateness to patient status.
Acting as a supervisor by delegating tasks, assessing care quality, and participating in hourly rounding.
Monitoring safety guidelines and sometimes assuming shift leadership.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient goals and ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications And Skills
Current RN license in the state, CPR, and applicable certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.).
Effective interpersonal skills, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and excellent customer service abilities.
Preferred: BSN, acute care experience, and specialty certifications.
