We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) department. This position is for night shifts and offers a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during critical moments. Responsibilities
Triage and assess patients' conditions quickly and accurately.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and adjust patient care plans.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Respond efficiently to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Prior experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting is a plus.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, including prior travel experience. The selected individual must be available to start as soon as possible.
The position involves working in a seven-bed Emergency Department (ED) with an average annual volume of 4,500 cases. Proficiency in the Meditech Expanse 2.2 electronic medical record system is strongly required.
Certification Requirements
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the AHA
Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC)
State License Requirements
A valid license to practice in New Hampshire is mandatory; compact licenses are acceptable.
