Registered Nurse (RN) - ED Schedule: Full-Time with rotating weekends
Rotating M id-Shift - mostly 11a-11p - flexible to work other mid shifts

Wythe County Community Hospital (WCCH) ER is a 14 bed ER with a Fast Track area to accommodate up to 8 patients. We are Certified as a Stroke Ready Facility with The Joint Commission. The ER nurse patient ration is 1:4. The ER is staffed with Nurse Techs, Monitor Techs, and RNs. We believe in a work life balance with our employees while providing our community the care they need. Our department offers preferred scheduling to our employees. How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for:
Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
Additional requirements include:
At least one year of previous experience in ER as a RN strongly preferred.
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.
Handle with Care within one year of hire.

Hourly Range: $ 28.94 - $39.06
