About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN, GN) position in Surgical Cardiology at Hartford HealthCare is ideal for individuals looking to work in a dynamic specialty that combines surgical and medical interventions. This role offers a supportive environment for both experienced nurses and recent graduates.

Schedule : Full Time, Rotating shifts
What You'll Do
Provide nursing care in Cardiology units across multiple shifts.
Utilize research, innovation, and evidence-based practices in patient care.
Participate in a comprehensive Nurse Residency program.
Support patients through surgical and medical interventions.
Collaborate with a supportive team of experienced managers and clinical staff.
Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Education
ASN required (must obtain a BSN within 6 years)
BSN preferred
Experience
One year of recent acute care RN experience preferred
Graduate nurses are encouraged to apply
Licenses & Certifications
Current Connecticut RN License required prior to start date
BLS certification by the American Heart Association required
