The Infection Prevention and Control, Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement, and Education RN role at Tweeten Care Center offers the chance to make a direct impact on resident safety, staff development, and quality of care in a close-knit, mission-driven setting.
Located in Spring Grove, MN.
Emplify Health by Gundersen Tweeten Care Center is a long-term skilled nursing facility known for compassionate care, a family-based environment, and specialized dementia services, giving this role meaningful variety and the opportunity to support both residents and staff every day.
What you will do:
1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
This position is primarily Monday through Friday day shift, with a rotating backup role for floor nursing and required weekend and holiday on-call availability.
Provide infection surveillance and management
Staff education and monitoring of required education
Assist with care center surveys
Lead quality improvement activities

What you need:
Associate Degree in Nursing
Minnesota RN License
1 year of long-term care experience, RN experience preferred
Infection Preventionist certificate required within 3 months of hire
Basic Life Support CPR
Obtain CPR Instructor within 3 months of hire
