Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Wound Care Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Hourly Range : $31.49 - $42.51

Our Wound Care Nurse oversees treatment of our patients needing Wound Care in the hospital. You will work closely with the physicians, surgeons and staff to help educate patients and help with treatment plans focused on achieving positive healing outcomes. Our goal is to provide safe, quality, and compassionate care close to home!
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
The RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients served on his/her assigned unit as described in unit based competencies, policies and procedures.
In collaboration with other staff members, provides bedside patient care, implementing the interventions identified in the plan of care, as directed by physician.
Ensure appropriate patient care documentation
Implement and assure compliance with wound center and hospital policies and procedures.
Maintain familiarity with regulatory standards.
Report quality of care issues to clinical manager or Program Director.
Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
Communicates with all team members regarding therapeutic interventions.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. Associate's degree in nursing required.
Additional requirements include:
Bachelor's degree preferred
American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Experience in Wound Care required.
Certification in Wound Care preferred.
