Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intermediate Care/Step Down Unit-3 East.
Hours/Shift:
Full-time, night shift 7p - 7a

Education
Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
Certification/Licensure
Registered nursing License (Required)
Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
BLS required within 90 days of hire

Department/Position Overview:
The 3East - Intermediate Care Unit atSentaraVirginiaBeachGeneral enjoys a supportive team environment and nurse patient ratio including a unit based nurse educator, team coordinator and manager. The unit has an active Partnership council and is currently involved with the hospital Magnet redesignation journey. All new grad RNs receive a 10 to 12-week clinical preceptorship as well as enrollment in the Transition to Practice Program. If you are seeking a fast paced, team based care environment- 3East is the place for you! The patient population on this unit may include: sepsis, hemorrhage, stroke, cardiac, trauma, post op, substance withdrawal, diabetic ketoacidosis.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
