Wausau, WI | $36–$51/hour | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Days & Nights
The Staff Pad is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at a respected regional hospital in Wausau, WI.

What You’ll Do
As an IMCU RN, you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients who require closer monitoring and more advanced clinical care than a traditional medical-surgical setting.
Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care
Monitor patients closely and recognize changes in condition
Assess, prioritize, and respond to evolving patient needs
Care for patients with complex medical, neurological, trauma, and post-surgical conditions
Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and other members of the care team
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
Develop and strengthen advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Educate patients and families throughout the care process
What We’re Looking For
Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility through a compact license
BLS certification
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
New graduate RNs are welcome to apply
Experienced RNs with med-surg, telemetry, step-down, progressive care, IMCU, ICU, critical care, or similar experience are encouraged to apply
