n We’re Looking For:n
n Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursingn
n Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practicesn
n Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Associationn
n Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.n
n What You’ll Do:n
n Schedule:n n 40hrs/weekn n Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pmn
n Actual compensation offered in the Pay Range of $35.50-$53.25 and will be based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience and/or training.n
n As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.n
n Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.n

n The internal medicine clinic at 2424 S 90th St in West Allis (Aurora Internal Medicine) is a specialized adult primary care clinic focused on comprehensive, long-term health management:n
n Adult-focused care:n n Serves young adults through seniors, with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of complex medical conditions.n
n Chronic disease management:n n Provides ongoing care for conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, and other chronic illnesses.n
n Comprehensive expertise:n n Internists have advanced training across multiple specialties (e.g., endocrinology, neurology, infectious disease), enabling holistic care.n
n Continuity of care:n n Emphasizes long-term patient relationships, tracking health over time and coordinating care with specialists as needed.n
n Integrated setting:n n Part of the Aurora West Allis Medical Center campus, allowing access to hospital-based services and specialty care.n

n Physical Requirements and Working Conditionsn
n Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.n
n Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.n
n Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.n
n Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.n
n Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.n
n Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.n
n May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.n
n Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.n
n Physical Abilities Testing may be required.n
n Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.n
