Job description
Registered Nurse – Moderate Sedation
Schedule: 36 or 40 hours per week, days, 10 or 12 hour shifts, with on-call for weekends and nights.
Assignment Details: Guaranteed hours available.
Requirements:
RN License (New York License ONLY)
Moderate Sedation Experience Required
Interventional Radiology Experience Required
Two (2) years of experience OR experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred
Telemetry experience required
Ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation independently
Responsibilities:
Provide moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care.
Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients' cardiac and physical status.
Collaborate with physicians to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy during procedures.
Circulate when not providing moderate sedation.
