Registered Nurse | RN | Med/Surg | Abilene, TX | $43+/hr Contract Details Location : Abilene, Texas Employment Type: PRN Setting : Medical/Surgical – Acute Care Shift : Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PMNight: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Hours : PRN – Must commit to a minimum of 2–3 shifts per month to remain active PAY RATE: $43–$46 PER HOUR Start Date : ASAP Employment Status: W2 Employee
Requirements
Active RN license – Texas or Compact
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience
Recent experience in a hospital, LTAC, or inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) setting
Current BLS certification required
Must be able to commit to at least 2–3 shifts per month
Ability to pass required background screening
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical patients
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Provide patient and family education
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

This role is ideal for experienced acute-care nurses looking for flexible PRN scheduling while earning $43–$46 per hour.
