Job description
Take on a high-impact travel nursing opportunity with a versatile RN Float Pool team. This role is ideal for an experienced critical care nurse who is confident caring for patients across Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Room settings.
Position Highlights
Profession: RN
Specialty: Medical Surgical
Schedule: 3x12-hour night/days shifts
Every other weekend and holiday rotations required
2 on-call shifts required per 4-week period
Must be comfortable floating between Med/Surg, ICU, and ER units
Must be able to float between multiple locations
Minimum Requirements
Active NY RN License
BSN required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care experience
Critical care experience required
BLS certification required through American Heart Association or RQI
ACLS certification required through American Heart Association or RQI
PALS certification required through American Heart Association or RQI
NIHSS certification required
Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Must be comfortable providing care across Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Room settings
Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Computer literacy and electronic medical record experience preferred
Must demonstrate the ability to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
