Job description
Role
The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safety and excellence in a clinical environment supported by shared governance and evidence-based practices.
Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, fostering partnership with patients and families through effective communication methods.
Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and a respectful clinical environment.
Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Complete ongoing professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and model professional nursing practice.
Support evidence-based practice, adhere to organizational policies, and contribute to protocol development to optimize care and resource use.
Qualifications
An Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), current RN license (single-state or multi-state), and Basic Life Support certifications are required. Candidates should have at least 2 years of clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on direct patient care.
