Registered Nurse - PACU
Schedule
8H Day, , Monday-Friday
Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours Biweekly
Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements
Current MA license in nursing (BSN required, MSN in education or CNS preferred)
BLS/ACLS certification from AHA
BLS and ACLS instructor certification required prior to start
3-5 years of experience, critical care experience preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership experience
Responsibilities Assume responsibilities as educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, role model, mentor, and leader in the acute care setting
Assess staff educational needs and plan, coordinate, conduct, and evaluate programs such as orientation and educational offerings
Promote adult learning, improved patient outcomes, and professional development
Implement educational activities within the framework of the Nursing Division's philosophy, goals, and objectives
Pass testing prior to offer acceptance including dysrhythmia and medications tests
