Job description
The Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room
oversees surgical services, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
staff management: hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development
supporting departmental goals: productivity, budget adherence, resource management
collaborating with surgical teams to maintain a safe, sterile setting
developing and implementing patient care plans based on assessments and medical treatments
monitoring staff productivity, conducting performance reviews, and addressing disciplinary actions
participating in staffing, scheduling, and departmental operational activities
promoting compliance with organizational standards and high-quality care
Qualifications include:
RN licensure, 2-5 years of experience, with preferred BSN and 5-10 years of experience. Formal leadership experience is a plus.
