Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room
Job Type: Full-time | 40 hours per Week | Day Shifts
Wage scale: $42.14 - $78.11 per hour
$20,000 Commitment-Incentive Bonus

The registered nurse (RN) plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Surgical Services department. The RN ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care. The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the assigned unit and the organization. They remain flexible to changing systems - are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.

8 Hour Shifts
Monday through Friday from
On- Call rotation including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, may be required based on departmental needs
1 Weekend/Month Required
How you'll contribute
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgery is responsible for delivering safe, efficient and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
Performing circulating nurse duties during surgical procedures
Maintaining sterile technique and monitoring the surgical environment for safety and compliance
Anticipating the needs of the surgical team to support efficient case flow
Communicating effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers and team members
Documenting care accurately and in a timely manner
Participating in process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, safety and team performance
What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Active Washington RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
At least two recent years of RN Operating Room experience required.
