Job description
Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room provides direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting complex procedures including vascular, cardiac, thoracic, robotic, and transplant surgeries.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Educate patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans, considering patients' emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical and psychosocial needs, ensuring high standards of care.
Qualifications & Skills
RN license required; BSN preferred, AD-N considered.
Experience not mandatory; commitment to professional growth and teamwork essential.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
Key Duties
Providing patient-centered care, participating in orientation and training, supporting a collaborative team environment, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
