Location: Avera McKennan Hospital
Worker Type: Regular
Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends (United States of America)
Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 (actual rate dependent on experience)
Position Highlights: Eligible for a sign‑on bonus up to $15,000

In‑unit massage chair for all orthopedic staff
Brief Overview: Provides nursing care by developing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, defining interventions, and supporting patients and families physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. Maintains and re‑evaluates care plans as conditions change.
What You Will Do:
Provide patient care and coordinate with physicians and other team members.
Develop nursing care plans based on patient history, examination, and documentation.
Educate patients, families, and friends on conditions, medications, and self‑care.
Evaluate care against standards and modify plans as needed.
Maintain a safe and compliant care environment, following infection control, medication, and legal protocols.
Document patient care in records and maintain supply and equipment readiness.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
Maintain required competence as directed by leadership.
Essential Qualifications: Must be able to work the specified hours, have adequate vision and communication skills, and meet the general knowledge, skill, and ability requirements. Reasonable accommodations available.
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license upon hire.
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
1–3 years experience in a clinical environment.
