Registered Nurse (RN) | Outpatient Surgery Odenton, MD
Starting at $47/hour
Part-Time
Nextaff is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time opportunity at an outpatient surgical center in Odenton, MD. If you have experience in surgery, perioperative nursing, the OR, PACU, or an ambulatory surgery setting and are looking for a part-time position, we'd love to connect with you.
What You'll Do
As a Surgical RN, you'll work alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the clinical team to provide safe, high-quality care to patients before, during, and/or after outpatient surgical procedures.
Preparing and assessing patients before surgical procedures
Providing perioperative nursing care
Monitoring patients and recognizing changes in condition
Administering medications and treatments as ordered
Supporting safe surgical and recovery workflows
Maintaining infection-control and patient-safety standards
Completing accurate and timely documentation
Providing patient and caregiver education
Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and other clinical staff
What We're Looking For
Active Maryland RN license or Compact/Multi-State RN license
Current BLS certification
ACLS preferred
Previous OR, perioperative, PACU, surgical, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment
Pay & Schedule
Starting Pay: $47.00/hour This is a part-time position at an outpatient surgical center in Odenton, MD. Scheduling will be based on the center's procedural needs.
