Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: If you are an RN looking for a part-time night position, this could be the opportunity for you! Here at St. Peter's Health Partner's, we care for more people in more places. As a nurse on 5 Pavilion at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, you will care for a mix of surgical orthopedic, surgical bariatric, and general medical/surgical patients. Patients typically on admitted to this unit include post-operative joint replacements, pre-operative fractures, and post-operative roux-en-y (RYGB).

What you will do:
Ensures quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards of care and practice.
Utilizing the Nursing Process, plans, directs and supervises the care of patients in addition to being involved in the provision of direct care of patients and families.
What you will need:
Current and valid NYS RN license (or plan to obtain if recent/future graduate)
ASN/BSN from an accredited nursing program
BLS Certification
Effective verbal and written communication
Pay Range:
$41.00- $51.00. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
