Job description
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides direct care on a 19-bed surgical specialties unit, caring for bariatric, vascular, and general med-surg patients. This role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, including IV insulin management and post-operative monitoring. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, maintains accurate EHR documentation, promotes patient safety, and may float to other units based on patient needs.
