Delegate and supervise non‑licensed staff, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Participate in quality‑improvement activities, reporting adverse events, near misses, and contributing to audits.

Promote patient safety by following all department policies, recognizing safety concerns, and communicating promptly with nursing leadership.

Deliver excellent customer service, efficiently handling confidential information and performing customer‑service recovery when needed.

Maintain effective communication with physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues, fostering collaborative relationships.

Support professional development by assisting in staff selection, orientation of new team members, and student rotations.

Adhere to financial responsibilities related to billing and cost‑effective nursing care.

Certification as a Registered Rehabilitation Nurse (CRRN) preferred; all new hires must obtain CRRN by their third anniversary.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
