Job description
Role Overview:
The RN Telemetry Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the telemetry department, overseeing patient care, staffing, and fiscal management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and a safe environment for patients, families, and visitors.
Collaborate with leadership to implement and evaluate unit strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Maintain clinical competency and promote service excellence across the team.
Qualifications & Skills
Associate degree in Nursing required; 2-3 years of acute care or comparable experience preferred.
Valid Multi-State RN license; must obtain within 30 days if from a different Compact state.
American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire; CPI certification and other unit-specific certifications needed within orientation.
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership ability, commitment to patient safety, and maintaining professional competency are essential for success in this role.
