Job description

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
Previous experience working with children or in school settings is highly valued
Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding best practices in student care
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions
Develop and implement individualized health plans
Administer medications and provide emergency care as needed
Maintain accurate health records in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
Promote a healthy and safe school environment through education and advocacy
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents on health-related matters
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student accommodations when requested
