Job description

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Active RN or LPN/LVN license or recognized Certified School Nurse credential
Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care, preferred but not required
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations related to student health
Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
Key Responsibilities: Deliver daily nursing care and respond to medical emergencies as needed
Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate health records
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
Serve as a resource for health education, illness prevention, and wellness programs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote a safe learning environment
Perform screenings and participate in immunization programs
