DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides nursing care and leadership to support the health and comfort of residents in a long term care setting. You will guide daily care, support communication, and ensure that nursing practices meet professional standards. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties:
Resident Care: Provide nursing treatment, monitor conditions, and update care plans based on resident needs
Medication Oversight: Dispense medications, review records, and check that assigned personnel follow proper procedures
Team Leadership: Guide staff, assign tasks, and address concerns to maintain safe and effective care
Communication Duties: Share important changes with supervisors, physicians, and families as needed
Safety Practices: Follow all safety rules, report hazards, and use required protective equipment
Documentation Tasks: Maintain accurate records, complete assessments, and support audits and reviews

Work Hours and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 8-hours/day-40-hours/week
Positions are available on the following shifts:2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) with a 30 minute lunch
3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) with a 30 minute lunch
Working every other weekend is required.

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $93,888.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Ne cessary Special Requirements: This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
A conditional offer of employment may require satisfactory completion of a medical examination.
