Registered Nurse - Mercy Clinic Spine & Pain Management - Southfork
Location: 12700 Southfork Road, Suite 153 | St. Louis, MO 63128
Schedule: Part Time (24 hrs/week), Day Shift
What You'll Do
As an RN in our Spine & Pain Management clinic, you'll play a key role in caring for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team, you'll help deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting a smooth and efficient clinic experience.
* Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while involving patients and families in treatment decisions
* Perform focused assessments, triage symptoms, and support ongoing evaluation of spine and pain-related conditions
* Assist with clinic operations, including patient preparation, admissions, discharges, and post-procedure care
* Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to support treatment plans, including injections and interventional procedures
* Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and follow appropriate escalation pathways
* Provide clear patient education on medications, procedures, recovery expectations, and pain management strategies
* Accurately document care, interventions, and education in the electronic medical record
* Support efficient clinic flow by prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing patient and clinic needs

What We're Looking For
* Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting
* Excellent communication and patient education skills
* A dependable, team-oriented approach with a commitment to high-quality patient care
Qualifications
* Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
* Licensure: Active RN license in the state of practice
* Experience: 1+ year of nursing experience preferred (outpatient, orthopedics, procedural, or pain management experience a plus)
* Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
