What We Offer: Novant Health is hiring a Cardi ovascular r egister ed n urse for the n ight shift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, N C .

Schedul e : Full-Time, 0 . 9 FTE , 72 Hours per 2 weeks , 12-Hour Night Sh ift, 7 p -7 a .

Our unit is built on a foundation of 43 beds, teamwork, and family focus, creating a tight-knit community where everyone is supported. What We're Looking For: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required .    

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing .    

Current valid North Carolina nursing license required .    

Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association is required .   

One-year of acute nursing experience is required .

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.   

What You'll Do: Performs nursing assessments to gather data and identify the patient’s needs for this episode of care per ANA standards and NCBON.  

Coordinates and communicates patient care needs for discharge planning in interdisciplinary care conferences and with members of the health care team.  

Develop and implement an individualized nursing care plan with the patient and family that will address the patient’s and family’s identified needs and concerns.  

Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in coordinating the plan of care and facilitating patient outcomes.  

Implements and evaluates the patient’s response to care through assessment and reassessment and updates the plan of care.  

Provides care based on established standards of practice, policies, and protocols.
