Job description
The Registered Nurse - Telemetry/Oncology position at Hackensack Meridian Health involves delivering evidence-based nursing practices and ensuring safe, individualized patient care. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to patient-centered care.

What You'll Do
Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization and disease management.
Participate in multi-disciplinary discharge of patients for safe transitions in care.
Requirements
Education
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience
At least 1 year of nursing experience required
Telemetry experience preferred
Oncology experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire
