Location: Toledo, OH
Pay Rate: $47–$52/hour
Job Type: Part Time, Per Diem, Full Time

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to provide high-quality nursing care to acute‑care patients requiring continuous cardiac and vital‑sign monitoring. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on Telemetry experience and at least 1 year of acute‑care RN experience within the last 5 years.
The RN will monitor patients, recognize changes in cardiac rhythms and clinical condition, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute-care Telemetry setting.
Continuously monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition and promptly report findings.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments.
Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and other physician-ordered interventions.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Monitor patient response to medications and treatments.
Communicate significant changes in patient condition to physicians and the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, nursing assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state or Compact RN license.
Minimum 1 year of acute-care RN experience within the last 5 years. Telemetry experience required.
Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced acute‑care environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Current BLS certification required.
ACLS certification preferred/required based on facility requirements.
Experience with an EHR/EMR system preferred.
